Lord Ganesha 
Lord Ganesha is one of the best-known and most widely worshipped deities in the Hindu religion. He is worshipped not only by Hindus, but also by Jain's, Buddhist's, and in many other parts of the world. Ganesha's elephant head makes him particularly easy to identify.

Ganesha is widely revered as the Remover of Obstacles. He is also considered to be Lord of Beginnings, patron of arts and sciences, and the god of intellect and wisdom. Most of the Hindus consider it propitious to honour lord Ganesha at the beginning of rituals and ceremonies. Some even believe, that any auspicious ceremony is incomplete without praying to lord Ganesha.

                                      Vakra tunda        (Having a curved trunk )

                                      Mahakaya           (of great stature/massive body)
